The Oscars aren’t for another six months but Angelina Jolie is already racking up another golden statuette.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the “In the Land of Blood and Honey” director with the honorary Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at their Governors Awards on Nov. 16.

According to a press release, Jolie was tapped by the academy for “staking out a career in the nexus of entertainment and philanthropy.” Steve Martin, Angela Lansbury, and Piero Tosi will also be honored at the Governors Awards for their contributions in their respective fields.
“We couldn’t be more excited for this year’s honorees and look forward to bringing their peers and colleagues together to celebrate their extraordinary achievements,” Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs said in a statement.
